Lancashire Cricket Stars Bowled Over By MINI Clubman

Lancashire County Cricket Club stars Dominic Cork, Luke Sutton, Glen Chapple, Kyle Hogg, Gary Keedy and five of their teammates demonstrated just how spacious the MINI Clubman is when all ten of them managed to fit inside the largest model in the MINI family.

The challenge to see how many of LCCC’s players could fit in the car was arranged by MINI dealership Williams, one of the Club’s official sponsors this season.

The LCCC players, whose average height tops 6ft, visited the Williams MINI dealership on Chester Road this week and were pleasantly surprised by how much space the MINI Clubman offers.

The MINI Clubman, which was launched in November last year, is 24cm longer than the Hatch and offers 8cm more legroom for rear passengers. Access to this extra space has been made easy via innovative split-rear doors and a ‘Clubdoor’ on the right hand side of the car which swings open in the opposite direction to the front passenger door.

Alison Mulvey, Williams Group Marketing Manager said: "We were delighted to welcome the Lancashire County Cricket Club players to our MINI dealership in Manchester. This challenge was the perfect way to demonstrate the extra room the MINI Clubman offers."
