Lancashire Team Up With Local College

Lancashire County Cricket Club has teamed up with Myerscough College to offer the very best in Cricket Development and further education.

The courses range from the intermediate level “First Diploma” to the advanced level “National Diploma”, and cover all aspects of sport; including fitness, leadership skills, psychology, nutrition, principles of coaching and sports injuries. Students will receive specialist cricket development coaching from professional ECB qualified coaching staff to enhance and develop technical performance. The course also provides an ideal route into a range of sporting careers.

Next Tuesday (10th April), Old Trafford will host a FREE TASTER DAY where attendees will be given information about the course, cricket coaching in the nets and a tour of the County Ground. This Taster Day is open to everyone 15 years old or over.

So whether you are in Years 10 or 11 at Secondary school, play cricket on the weekend or you’re a parent looking to gain a coaching qualification … then Lancashire looks forward to welcoming you next week.
