Lancashire 176-4 (Brown 61) v
Yorkshire 64-2 (Willey 23no)
Match Tied D/L
North Group, Natwest T20 Blast, Manchester
A record crowd at Old Trafford witnessed a tied game between Yorkshire and Lancashire in the North Group Natwest T20 Blast after rain played spoilsport.
Chasing a target of 177 runs from 20 overs, Ryan McLaren (2-14) dismissed Tom Kohler-Cadmore (12) and Adam Lyth (20) inside six overs but David Willey (23 not out), promoted at number three tried to inject some momentum in his 18-ball knock.
Just when Shaun Marsh (6 not out) worked out a single to take the score to 64 for two in 8.1 overs, rain arrived, not allowing any further play possible. The target according to Duckworth-Lewis at that stage was 65 runs though.
Earlier, Karl Brown (61) looked good in his 47-ball knock and along with support from Liam Livingstone (34), Jos Buttler (28) and McLaren (34 not out) helped Lancashire post 176 for four in their innings.
Azeem Rafiq (2-26) was the pick of the Yorkshire bowlers with a two wicket haul.
