With just two weeks to go, excitement is building for the ICC World Twenty20 2012 in Sri Lanka. Thousands of cricket fans from around the world will be travelling to support their team and there is still time for those that haven’t booked to experience it first-hand with Emirates Live.

The 'T20' will see England fighting to defend their current title against eleven other countries during September and October in what has become one of the most exciting tournaments in modern sport. The event is all the more popular in 2012 as Sri Lanka plays host meaning fans have the chance to see the world’s best cricketers compete in a country full of natural beauty.

With long golden beaches, great food and locals who go mad for a game of cricket, the ICC World Twenty20 is the perfect excuse to visit Sri Lanka this autumn. Away from the cricket there is historic Colombo to explore, as well as sacred Kandy and the many inland mountain peaks and picturesque plantations throughout the island.
