Leicestershire 183-6 (Ackermann 58no) beat
Yorkshire 182-5 (Kohler-Cadmore 75) by four wickets
Natwest T20 Blast, North Group, Grace Road

Fifties from Luke Ronchi and Colin Ackermann proved vital as Leicestershire held their nerve in a tight chase of 183 runs which they completed with four wickets in hand in the Natwest T20 Blast clash against Yorkshire at Grace Road.

Chasing 183, Leicestershire got off to a blistering start with Ronchi (57) dominating the innings while Cameron Delport (5) was a mere spectator at the other end.

The home side raced to 50-run mark in the fourth over with Delport contributing just five of it. Yorkshire made a comeback by dismissing Delport and Mark Cosgrove (0) in a span of four deliveries but Ronchi continued his onslaught and reached another fifty.

As Ackermann (58 not out) was settling in, Ronchi took the score past the 80-run mark in the eighth over before he was dismissed. Cameos from Aadil Ali (15) and Tom Wells (14) eased the pressure on Ackermann as the target was down to 25 runs off the final four overs which they eventually completed in 19.4 overs.

Earlier, it was Tom Kohler-Cadmore's (75) 40-ball knock and Shaun Marsh (60) set the total of 182 for five for Yorkshire. Also Adil Rashid (26 not out) contributed with a 17 ball cameo.
