Leicestershire Foxes Support Broad Appeal

Leicestershire Foxes are delighted to be supporting The Broad Appeal throughout the Friends Life t20 game against Nottinghamshire Outlaws on Friday evening.

The Appeal has been set up by Chris Broad, who lost wife Miche to motor neurone disease last year. Chris has joined forces with son Stuart and Gemma to raise money and increase understanding of MND through the establishment of The Broad Appeal.

Stuart and Gemma both have strong Leicestershire links given the England all-rounder came through the ranks at the Club and Gemma helped out with performance analysis duties at Grace Road while studying for her degree in Exercise and Sport Sciences.

Chris will attend Friday’s game between the Foxes and the Outlaws and will be speaking about the charity during the interval.

Nottinghamshire Outlaws are supporting The Broad Appeal by having the logo on the front of their t20 shirts. Trent Bridge is also making a further donation to the Appeal after pledging to donate a portion of gate receipts from the England v Sri Lanka NatWest Series.

Leicestershire have supported charities at every CB40 home game this season and are supporting The Broad Appeal by having a collection at Friday's game, so please give generously to an extremely worthy cause.
