Kukri and Leicestershire have signed a partnership deal which will see the Kukri become the official kit supplier to the Foxes until 2017.
This is the latest addition to Kukri's expanding portfolio of clubs and international teams and Kukri will supply Leicestershire with training and playing kit from the start of the new season.
They will also receive perimeter branding within Grace Road, tickets to major matchdays and all replica shirts, training kit and leisurewear will be sold online, through the team and Kukri websites.
"We are delighted to add Leicestershire to the Kukri team sheet and have worked hard to create a kit which the players and fans will both approve of," Scott Gamble, Kukri GB Sales Director, said.
"The Leicestershire deal is a huge achievement for Kukri, we are now proud kit sponsors to four of the country’s major county cricket clubs which demonstrates the level of respect we have as a sportswear brand within the sport of cricket," added.
Leicestershire County Cricket Club’s Chief Executive, Mike Siddall, commented: "I am delighted that Kukri has agreed to supply the Club’s kit. Kukri were brilliant in providing top quality kit for our trip to the Champions League in 2011 at very short notice so I am really pleased that we have agreed a three year deal with them."
Kukri now supply bespoke sports kit for 76 different sports to teams, clubs, universities and schools worldwide including England's delegation and competition wear for the Commonwealth Games later this year.
Leicestershire begin their season when they take on Derbyshire at Grace Road on Sunday in an LV County Championship Division Two game.
