Hampshire all-rounder Liam Dawson has extended his association with Hampshire by signing a new two-year extension of his contract. The deal will allow him to represent the club until 2012.
The Swindon-born 20-year-old, who bowls left-arm orthodox spin made eight first-class appearances for Hampshire last season, making 348 runs. He also contributed to both limited-overs competitions, scoring nearly 200 runs as Hampshire won the Friends Provident t20 competition.
Dawson was delighted with the extension of the contract and aims to establish in the side to make them an unbeatable outfit.
"I'm very happy to sign a new contract at Hampshire. We've got a lot of young lads at the club and they all did exceptionally well last season," he said.
"I'm looking forward to establishing myself in the team and if I can do that, alongside the other young guys at the club, we're going to be a very difficult side to beat over the next few years."
