In scenes reminiscent of 2012, the entire programme in the North Lancashire and Cumbria Premier and First Divisions was washed out this weekend. The lack of action means that Haverigg (61), Furness (54) and Cleator (50) lead the way at the top of the Premier Division while in the First Division, Egremont are on top with 63 points, Cletaor II are six points behind and Cockermouth II have 54 points in third place.
There were no positive results in the opening weekend of the Saracens Hertfordshire Cricket League but Totteridge Milhillians sit on top of the table with 17 points. Old Finchleians come next with 16 and St Albans are third with 11.
Teddington and Finchley top the early 2013 Middlesex ECB Premier League after winning their opening matches against Richmond and Eastcote. Eastcote were subsequently docked 10 points for fielding an understrength team, which nevertheless only went down by one wicket.
