Listen To Bears Ball By Ball

Warwickshire CCC is delighted to announce that in conjunction with local radio stations BBC WM and BBC Coventry & Warwickshire every Bears match, both home and away, will have online commentary.

This is great news for all Bears fans around the world who will now be able to access to every match live over the internet. The link will be located on www.edgbaston.com on every match day and fans will just need to click to get all the latest score updates along with player interviews.

The first match of the season starts on Wednesday 18th April at Edgbaston against Lancashire CCC in the Liverpool Victoria County Championship.

Commercial Director, James McLaughlin, is delighted with the news, “It is great that we can give supporters the chance to listen to ball by ball commentary for all our matches. This is a fantastic service for cricket fans and with our partnership with the BBC we can ensure that the whole region and beyond can have access to all the action at Warwickshire CCC. ”

Sue Owen, Managing Editor of Radio WM, said, “To create such a close relationship with our local team is fantastic, we cover the Bears in our sports bulletins but it will be brilliant to cover everything on all match days. Midlanders are very keen on their cricket and this will be the ideal opportunity for listeners not to miss any cricket all season.”

David Clargo, Managing Editor of BBC Coventry and Warwickshire, added:

"We know that many Bears supporters live in Warwickshire and might not always be able to attend matches, so we're delighted to be offering this service for the 2007 season."
