Malhotra Replaces Sultana In India Squad
The International Cricket Council (ICC) has confirmed that Reema Malhotra has replaced Gouher Sultana in India's squad ahead of the ICC Women's World Twenty20 in Sri Lanka.
The tournament gets underway on 26th September and India begin their campaign against Australia one day later.
Sultana has contracted a virus and her replacement, Malhotra, has played 17 Twenty20 Internationals in addition to 37 ODIs and a single Test.
India also play England (29th September) and Pakistan (1st October) as they bid to better their tournament record of reaching the semi-finals in 2009.
