Australia 327-5 (Smith 107) v India A
Tour game, Mumbai, day one

Shaun Marsh and Steven Smith showed a lot of resilience with determined centuries as Australia went on to amass 327 for five at stumps on day one of the tour game against India A in Mumbai.

India A won the toss and decided to field first. David Warner (25) started the innings in a brisk manner scoring four boundaries in it. Navdeep Saini (2-27) removed both Warner and Matt Renshaw (11) and had Australia reduced at 55 for two.

That's when Smith (107 retired out) and Shaun (104 retired out) joined together for a brilliant 156-run stand that kept the India A bowlers at bay.

Both batsmen decided to retire out on reaching their century to give other batsmen chance.

Peter Hanscomb (45) looked fluent in his 70-ball knock which had three boundaries in it but was dismissed by India A skipper Hardik Pandya (1-64) in the 81st over.

With Mitchell Marsh (16 not out) and Matthew Wade (7 not out) at the crease, Australia ended the day at 327 for five at stumps o day one.
