Sagicor HPC 230 (Cremer 7-79)
Tour game, Barbados
Hamilton Maakadza scored a century, Vusi Sibanda hit 80 and Graeme Cremer took seven wickets as Zimbabwe warmed up for their Test series in the West Indies by drawing with a Sagicor High Performance Centre team.
Masakadza made 112 in the Zimbabweans' first innings, Sibanda made a half-century in the second innings while Cremer returned seven for 79 as the home side were bowled out for 230.
The tourists declared their first innings on 255 for eight and closed on 209 for seven in their second innings.
Masakadza innings of 112 came from 273 balls, included 12 fours and two sixes while Malcolm Waller offered support with 64.
Kyle Jarvis aside, Zimbabwe's bowlers then struggled to make an impact before Cremer removed the middle order. Jarvis had taken out the openers Andre Fletcher (0) and Trevon Griffith (7) but the development side, through Marlon Samuels (55) and captain Kyle Hope (62) had made solid progress.
After Cremer's seven wickets had pegged them back, Yannic Kariah made an unbeaten 43.
Batting again, the Zimbabweans were reliant on Sibanda, whose 80 came from 108 balls, to ensure they weren't bowled out on the final day.
The first Test begins in Barbados tomorrow (12th March).
