McFly Drummer To Face Sussex Bowlers

Harry Judd, the drummer from top pop act McFly is set to face some of Sussex's top bowlers, including Mushtaq Ahmed, at The County Ground, Hove on Wednesday June 20 at midday. This appearance precedes the eagerly anticipated McFly concert coming to The County Ground on July 28.

Not only is Harry a whiz with drumsticks, but he is also a rather useful cricketer. Educated at top cricketing school, Uppingham School in Rutland, after his celebrity cricketing debut in India on the 'All Out For India' tour with the Sport Relief Red Socks, Harry has caught the bug for the great game. He has played in many charity matches including appearances for the world famous Lashings and Bunbury's teams, but facing the likes of Mushtaq Ahmed and James Kirtley at Hove could be his sternest test yet.

Harry said; "I'm really looking forward to having a chance to face some of the world's best bowlers at Sussex. It also gives me the opportunity to check out the ground at Hove before our huge gig there on July 28."

After Harry's working over by some of Sussex's top bowlers, he will be launching McFly concert ticket sales at The County Ground. From 1pm Lucky fans will be able to buy their tickets from the man himself, with a commemorative poster signed by Harry for the first fifty purchasers. Harry will also be available for autographs and prearranged interviews.
