Michael Brown Reprimanded By The ECB
Surrey batsman Michael Brown has been given a reprimand by the England & Wales Cricket Board (ECB) following an incident that occurred during last week's LV County Championship match against Gloucestershire.
The former Hampshire man was given the reprimand for a Level One breach of ECB's Discipline Code having been reported by umpires Richard Illingworth and Nigel Cowley for showing dissent at an umpire's decision.
The reprimand will remain on his record for two years and any further Level One breach in that period will result in three penalty points being added to his record.
Surrey went on to lose the match by an innings and one run.
