Middlesex CCC To Turn Lord’s Pink

The Middlesex Crusaders are asking everyone who comes to watch them play in the Twenty20 Cup this year to wear pink in support of Breakthrough Breast Cancer, the UK’s leading breast cancer charity.

The Middlesex team will be wearing a pink kit throughout this year’s competition and the club are encouraging everyone who comes to watch to join in the fun!

Replica pink kits are available now from the club shop or online from www.middlesexccc.com with £5 for every shirt sold and £2 for every pink cap sold going directly to Breakthrough Breast Cancer.*

But it doesn’t have to be a replica shirt or cap – just as long as it’s pink! If you’re coming straight from work that day just make sure you wear your pink shirt in to the office. Or put an old white T shirt in the wash with a red sock if you don’t own anything pink – yet!

Middlesex Crusaders will play four home matches in the initial stages of this year’s Twenty20 campaign – beginning on Monday 25th June at Southgate with a match against Hampshire Hawks, quickly followed by a game against Kent Spitfires at Uxbridge on Wednesday 27th June. In the following week the Crusaders play their two games at Lord’s – on Tuesday 3rd July against Surrey Brown Caps and Friday 6th July against the Essex Eagles.

At all four of Middlesex’s home matches, including two at Lord’s Cricket Ground in conjunction with MCC, Breakthrough volunteers will be collecting donations from spectators and Breakthrough wristbands and pins will be available throughout the ground for a suggested donation. Please give generously.

Tickets are still available for all Middlesex’s home matches this year but are selling fast so if you want to see the Crusaders in action, in pink, purchase your tickets today.

* Recommended Retail Price for products – adults replica shirt £40.00, junior replica shirt £35.00 and caps £10.
