Haxey have romped to the top of the Lincolnshire Premier League following an impressive month where they have won four of their five matches. The only match they did lose was to second-placed Skegness on the 2nd June. Woodhall Spa and defending champions Bracebridge Heath are just a few points behind the leaders as a four-way battle looks to be developing for the title. At the other end of the table are Hartsholme and Boston with only two wins between them from 22 games.

Batting – June top three
1. Adrian Gordon (Skegness) – 215 runs from five matches

Best bowling: Saeed Bariwala (eight for 35 against Haxey on 2nd June)

Player of the month: A tough call, but Brett Houston of Bracebridge Heath just shades out Saeed Bariwala. He has hit 172 runs from four matches – including an innings of 104 not out against Louth – as well as taking 10 wickets at the impressive average of 10.5.

Northampton Saints have edged ahead of Peterborough Town and are the new leaders of the Northamptonshire Premier League. They have a ten-point lead over Town, with third-placed Stony Stratford a further 57 points adrift. Horton House have continued their abysmal form so far in 2012 and are easily last with nine losses from 11 matches.

2. Christian Davis (Wellingborough Town) – 191 runs from five matches

Player of the month: Christian Davis takes this month’s awards courtesy of his all-round exploits. As well as his 191 runs – including two half centuries – he has taken 10 wickets. His best performance with the ball came against Horton House, when he took five for 32.

Cuckney and Nottinghamshire’s Academy remain the leading duo in the Nottinghamshire Premier League. The former have a 14-point lead over the latter, who have a game in hand. Wollaton and Worksop occupy the final two places with only one win between them from 24 fixtures.

3. Ricaldo Anderson (West Indian Cavaliers) – 12 wickets at 6.58
Best bowling: Ricaldo Anderson (seven for nine against Clifton Village on 4th June)
