Pakistanis 287 (Misbah-ul-Haq 126)

New Zealand XI closed the third and final day of a tour game against the Pakistanis on 111 for four in their second innings having earlier dismissed the tourists for 287.
Captain Misbah-ul-Haq converted his overnight 99 not out into 126 and last man Tanvir Ahmed made 25 before being dismissed by Tim Southee.
Daniel Vettori and Chris Martin both picked up three wickets on day two while James Franklin finished with two for 35.
Whereas in the first innings, New Zealand's top order got their side off to a fine start, in their second innings, they struggled as Umar Gul struck twice in three balls to dismiss Brendon McCullum (18) and Kane Williamson (0).
Wahab Riaz then had Franklin caught by Abdur Rehman for 30 and Tim McIntosh was the final wicket to fall when he was bowled by Younus Khan for 26 towards the end of the game.
Wicket-keeper Reece Young was unbeaten on 19 and Southee had 15 when stumps were drawn.
The first Test between the two sides gets underway on 7th January in Hamilton.
