Vice-captain Mashrafe Bin Mortaza returned to the playing eleven and uncapped batsman Nazim Uddin was also inserted in the Bangladesh squad for tomorrow's second ODI of the three-match Warid Series 2008 against South Africa at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur. Opener Zunaed Siddique and fast bowler Shahadat Hossain have been left out from the side that played in the first ODI in Chittagong.

"We rested Mortaza in Chittagong and hopefully he will be fresh and energized for tomorrow's match. We need him to be in his best form with the ball. His big-hitting in the closing overs will also an added bonus. Zunaed we feel is a little low on confidence after not getting the runs in ODIs. He has featured in partnerships but has not made the scores he is capable of. He has been given a break," said Bangladesh captain Mohammad Ashraful.

The match is scheduled to start at 9:30am (03:30GMT). The third and final ODI is on Friday, 14 March at the same venue. Bangladesh trail the series 0-1 after their 9-wicket loss in Chittagong.

Bangladesh: Mohammad Ashraful (Captain), Tamim Iqbal, Shahriar Nafees Ahmed, Nazim Uddin, Shakib Al Hasan, Roqibul Hassan, Dhiman Ghosh (Wicketkeeper), Abdur Razzak, Mashrafe Bin Mortaza (Vice Captain), Musharraf Hossain, Syed Rasel. 12th man: Farhad Reza

South Africa (From): Graeme Smith (Captain), Herschelle Gibbs, Hashim Amla, AB de Villiers (Wicketkeeper), JP Duminy, Albie Morkel, Johan Botha, Charl Langeveldt, Paul Harris, Morne Morkel, Andre Nel, Dale Steyn, Alviro Petersen.
