Lancashire have confirmed that 22-year-old all-rounder Steven Mullaney has turned down the offer of a new two-year contract and will now leave the club in search of first-team cricket elsewhere.
The right-hand batsman/right-arm fast medium bowler has played just four first-class matches, eight One-Day games and three Twenty20 matches since signing his first professional contract in 2006.
"LCCC would like to thank Steven for his contributions over the past four seasons and wish him all the best for the future," a statement issued by Lancashire read.
Mullaney is a product of the Lancashire Academy and in 2007, he smashed an unbeaten 165 in a pre-season fixture.
