Sussex's Zimbabwean batsman Murray Goodwin has been reprimanded by the England & Wales Cricket Board (ECB) after falling foul of the ECB's Discipline Code.

Goodwin was reported by umpires George Sharp and Graham Lloyd for excessive appealing during Sussex's LV= County Championship match against Leicestershire which began on 27th April.

Goodwin, who is standing in as Sussex captain while Michael Yardy is away on England duty, will see the reprimand remain on his record for two years and any further Level One breaches during that time will result in the automatic imposition of three penalty points.

Meanwhile, Sussex have named an unchanged squad for their latest County Championship clash with Middlesex and have also announced that for their Friends Provident t20 clash against Somerset on 1st June, Under-16s, provided they are accompanied by an adult, can get in and watch the game for £1.

Sussex squad to play Middlesex: Murray Goodwin (captain), Ragheb Aga, James Anyon, Corey Collymore, Joe Gatting, Andrew Hodd, Robin Martin-Jenkins, Chris Nash, Rana Naved-ul-Hasan, Monty Panesar, Matthew Prior, Michael Thornely
