Nadeem Malik Moves To Leicestershire

Leicestershire have signed Nadeem Malik from Worcestershire, the pace bowler becoming the latest signing for the East Midlands club.

Malik, 25, has signed a one-year deal after becoming frustrated with a lack of first team opportunities at Worcester.

"I feel that this is the best opportunity of his career," senior coach Tim Boon said after securing Malik’s signature on a one-year deal.

"Nadeem will undergo a training programme building on the foundations he has already laid during the off-season, and he has made it quite clear that he is committed to making this move a success."

Malik started his career with Nottinghamshire before switching to Worcestershire in 2004. He returned to Trent Bridge on a short-term loan deal this season.
