Leicestershire fast bowler Nadeem Malik has signed a one-year contract extension which will see the former Nottinghamshire and Worcestershire man stay at Grace Road until the end of the 2011 season.
He joins Will Jefferson, Paul Nixon and Jacques du Toit in recently signing new contracts ahead of the 2011 season.
Malik made a return from injury during 2010, taking 21 wickets in first-class cricket, seven in the Clydesdale Bank 40 and 13 in the Friends Provident t20.
“I’m happy to sign a one-year extension to my contract at Leicestershire CCC," he said. “I am really looking forward to the new season and continuing where we left off last year.”
Chief Executive Mike Siddall added: “Nadeem put in good performances throughout 2010. I am delighted he has committed himself to the Club for another season.”
