Essex all-rounder Graham Napier will be climbing new heights when he takes part in the Three Peaks Challenge for the PCA (Professional Cricketer’s Association) Benevolent Fund. This popular mountaineering event will see Napier and other cricketing players climb Ben Nevis, Snowdon and Scafell Pike in a gruelling 24-hour period from this Thursday (15th October). The trek involves walking 22 miles in 24 hours with a total ascent of nearly 10,000 feet. This challenge will see Napier climb the highest peaks in England, Scotland and Wales.
After attending a training camp in India, Graham said, “The hot and humid conditions out there were ideal for preparing for this event and I am now ready to take on this challenge”.
Napier is 44% way towards raising his target of £1,000, we urge companies and individuals to help Graham reach this target in aid of the PCA (Professional Cricketer’s Association) Benevolent Fund.
