Each year, the English county cricket teams hold media mornings for press and photographers to meet and interview players. This year Cricket World were fortunate to be given the new Vauxhall Astra to help their roving reporter Jim White to get their in style and comfort.

Along the way a few detours took in some other cricket related (and some not!) sights.

Video clips from each venue are on the 'Where's Jim? page of Cricket World.

The new Astra has been a superb car to visit many of the counties and cricket clubs throughut the UK.  As a tall person, I can vouch that it is roomy and very comfortable and handles particularly well.

It has created a great impression when meeting cricketers, counties and also clients. Most have been mesmerised by the headlights as they sense the light and react to the correct setting.

Very cool!!

A new study* by Wonderful Pistachios suggests that as we gather around the TV to watch the sport this summer, including Test, One-Day International and Twenty20 cricket, the lean athletes we see on the track and pitch will not be motivating us into changing our bad eating habits. According to the study we are most likely to be grazing on unhealthy snacks when we tune in to follow the sport on TV. Our top three favourite snacks, when watching sport, are crisps, chocolate and biscuits, with only 17% of respondents choosing to snack on healthy fruit.
