New Balance Is Official Footwear Partner To Lancashire

New Balance, a global leader in athletic footwear, is proud to announce its appointment as the official footwear partner to Lancashire County Cricket Club.

Commenting on the arrangement he helped to secure, Liam Burns, Head of Business Development for New Balance, speaking from Cumbria, where the shoes are being produced, said: “We are naturally thrilled, especially myself, as a Lancastrian and a fervent LCCC supporter, to be providing footwear for Lancashire County Cricket Club who have in their ranks such stars such as Andrew Flintoff and Murali Muralitharan.” He added: “New Balance has only just, last year, celebrated 25 years of manufacturing in the UK and we are therefore just delighted, as a domestic producer, to support such a fine British sporting institution.”

In reply Luke Sutton, Lancashire County Cricket Club’s 1st XI wicketkeeper said: “Looking after your body and avoiding injury is vital as a sportsman.” He continued: “New Balance provides Lancashire County Cricket Club with high performance footwear that not only looks good but is durable and extremely comfortable-exactly what a cricketer requires.”
