Fast bowler James Kirtley has signed a one-year contract extension which will keep him at Sussex until the end of the 2010 season.
Former England international Kirtley, 34, will begin his 16th season with the Sharks and he played a key role in their Pro40 and Twenty20 Cup success in 2009.
“I’m looking forward to playing in my sixteenth season at the Club. During my time with Sussex I’ve been lucky enough to have played in a hugely successful team and I’m looking forward to fighting hard to bring more silverware to Hove," Kirtley said.
