New Zealand Women 95-4 (Bates 40no) beat
Australia Women 92-7 (Broadmore 3-9) by 6 wickets
Fourth Twenty20 International, Sydney
New Zealand won a low-scoring fourth Twenty20 International over Australia Women by six wickets to take their first victory of the tour.
Kate Broadmore returned figures of three for nine as Australia were restricted to 92 for seven in 18 overs of a weather-interrupted encounter before New Zealand closed on 95 for four.
Australia captain Jodie Fields top scored for Australia with 37 not out as both teams battled to score fluently on a slow pitch at the Olympic Stadium and were not helped by poor weather.
In reply, Fields' counterpart Suzie Bates anchored New Zealand's successful run chase with 40 not out in 43 balls.
Sara McGlashan (19) and Madeline Green (14) made useful contributions to help the White Ferns break their duck having lost the opening three Twenty20s and the only One-Day International that survived the weather.
