No Bridge Too Far For CHASE Thames Walk

The CHASE Ben Hollioake Fund, in association with Surrey County Cricket Club, is holding a fund raising ‘London Bridges Walk’ on Sunday 19th August.

The six-mile walk commences at 10am at the Tower of London, and takes in some of the best sights along the Thames, including HMS Belfast, the London Eye and Big Ben. After crossing nine bridges from Tower Bridge to Vauxhall Bridge the walk then finishes at the Brit Oval.

Participants are then invited to watch the Surrey Brown Caps v Derbyshire Phantoms NatWest Pro40 game free of charge from their own special area of the OCS Stand.

All entrants receive a t-shirt, entry to the Brit Oval and the opportunity to take part in a raffle and interactive quiz en route.

Creator of the Fund and ex-England and Surrey cricketer Adam Hollioake, who is currently playing Twenty20 cricket with Essex, said: “This will be a great family day out, where adults and kids alike can stroll along the Thames at their own pace then relax watching the cricket whilst raising money for the CHASE Ben Hollioake Fund.”

As well as the £8 for adults, £4 for children entry fee, extra money can be raised with sponsorship which goes towards supporting life-limited children and their families.
