Cricket World rounds up the top June performers from all 26 of the ECB’s Premier Leagues.

Oxton and Hyde remain the leading pair in the Cheshire County Premier League. The former lead the latter by 17 points with six wins from 11 matches. Last month’s third-placed side Neston have slipped down to seventh, while Urmston and Widnes occupy the relegation places.

Player of the month: Gayan Fernando has been consistency personified in June, with hauls of three for 64, six for 57, four for 56 and four for 76 across the four matches as he helped Oxton to remain at the top of the league.

Lytham are the new leaders of the Liverpool & District Premier League and have a nine-point lead over the previous incumbents, Northern. Defending champions Ormskirk are fifth and look unlikely to defend their title as they are a full 64 points adrift. Rainford and Colwyn Bay continue to occupy the relegation zone and have yet to win a match between them after 20 attempts.

Player of the month: Logan Weston reached three figures twice in June and is a worthy winner. He hit an unbeaten 143 against Bootle on 2nd June, and followed that up with 100 not out against Northern on 16th June.

Barrow and Fleetwood remain the teams to beat in the Northern Premier League and have opened up a significant gap over their nearest rivals, third-placed Leyland. Netherfield have slipped down to fourth, while defending champions St Annes’ miserable season continues as they are three places off the bottom. Only Lancashire’s Academy and Carnforth are below them.

Sunderland and Blaydon continue to lead the North-East Premier League and are both undefeated after 10 matches.
