The 2nd XI hosted Guilsborough. With both sides suffering due to Northampton Saints being at Twickenham, the 2s were asked to bowl. Guilsborough went after the ball, scoring a mammoth 275 for three declared in 36 overs, leaving Oakley 54 overs to bat.
Captain Colin Gray and Gav Goodchild opened but Goodchild fell early on. Gray and Roy George then dug in, putting on 114 for the second wicket, Roy making 43 and Colin falling for 80.
After that, the innings closed on 150 for five off 54 overs and the draw ensured that the 2s stay on top of Division Eight.
