One Month Delay For New Carnegie Pavilion Decision

Leeds Metropolitan University and The Yorkshire County Cricket Club have asked Leeds City Council today that the planning decision on the new Carnegie Pavilion be delayed by one month. Stephen Willis, Director of Finance and Resources at Leeds Met and Stewart Regan, Chief Executive of The Yorkshire County Cricket Club, said: “We are both disappointed that there needs to be a delay until next month. We need to finalise a small number of issues to allow the Plans Panel to make a properly informed decision. We are confident this can be achieved ready for the September meeting.” Phil Crabtree, Chief Planning Officer at Leeds City Council stated: “We anticipate that the planning application will be able to go forward to be determined at the Plans Panel (West) Meeting on September 4.” © Yorkshire CCC
