First Rose Bowl Twenty20 International, Hamilton

The first Twenty20 International between New Zealand Women and Australia Women was abandoned without a ball being bowled in Hamilton due to rain.

With the ground badly affected by the heavy rainfall, the match was called off just one hour after the scheduled start time.

The second match in the five-game series is in Nelson on 30th December while the final three matches will be played in Ferbruary.

Australia Take Rose Bowl 4-2 With 19-Run Win

Australia Women clinched the Rose Bowl series 4-2 over rivals New Zealand Women with a 19-run win in the third and final One-Day International in Brisbane. The series, which also included five Twenty20 Internationals, began in December and ended when New Zealand were bowled out for 203 in reply to Australia's 222.

Rose Bowl Series Cancelled Following Earthquake

Cricket Australia (CA) and New Zealand Cricket (NZC) have taken the decision to cancel the remainder of the Rose Bowl series following Tuesday's earthquake in Christchurch. The quake, which measured 6.3 on the Richter scale, badly damaged NZC's offices in the city although no staff or players from either side were injured.

Australia Level Series With Three-Run Win

The five-match Twenty20 International series between Australia Women and New Zealand Women was drawn 2-2 following a thrilling three-run win for Australia in the final game in Invercargill. The away side held on to win as New Zealand closed on 163 for seven in reply to 166 for nine - a score that had been set up by Leah Poulton's maiden T20 International half-century.

New Zealand Take Series Lead With 14-Run Win

New Zealand Women scored a 14-run win over Australia Women in the fourth Twenty20 International in Invercargill to move into a 2-1 series lead with one match remaining. Sara McGlashan top scored with 62 as New Zealand posted 147 for five and for the second time in two days, Australia were bowled out inside 20 overs when they were dismissed for 133.

New Zealand Level T20 Series With 19-Run Win

New Zealand Women beat Australia Women by 19 runs to level their five-match Twenty20 International series at 1-1 following the third match at Invercargill. Trailing 1-0 going into the game, they produced a strong performance as they defended their score of 138 for six by dismissing Australia for 119 in 19 overs.

Anderson And Mackay Called Up By New Zealand

New Zealand Women have called up two uncapped players ahead of the conclusion of the limited overs series against Australia Women later this month. Canterbury pair Kelly Anderson, a quick bowler, and spinner Frances Mackay have been added to the squad for the three One-Day Internationals while Mackay is also set to feature in three Twenty20 Internationals.
