Warriors 181-4 (Jacobs 74, Prince 64) beat
Central Districts 175-3 (How 88no) by six wickets
Champions League Group A, Port Elizabeth

Warriors openers Davey Jacobs and Ashwell Prince scored aggressive half-centuries to set up a six-wicket victory over the Central Districts in their Champions League Group A clash in Port Elizabeth.

Jacobs hammered 74 in 47 balls and Prince 64 in 50 as the Warriors raced to 181 for four in 19.1 overs after the New Zealand team had reached 175 for three with captain Jamie How unbeaten 88.

How faced 57 balls, hitting 12 fours and three sixes and after Lonwabo Tsotsobe, Nicky Boje and Juan Theron took a wicket apiece, the innings was given some late impetus by an unbeatne 53 in 34 balls from Kieran Noema-Barnett, who hit five fours and three sixes.

However, an opening partnership of 147 between Jacobs and Prince set the Warriors on the way to a comprehensive win, Mark Boucher hitting the winning runs with a six.
