Pakistan have added opening batsman Khurram Manzoor to their Test squad to tour New Zealand, which now comprises 15 players ahead of the two-Test series.
Right-hander Manzoor has been rewarded for a prolific run of form playing for Pakistan A against West Indies A and Sri Lanka A after playing the last of his seven Tests against Australia in January.
In seven Test matches, he has scored three half-centuries with a career-best of 93.
"After the Chairman Selection Committee's discussion with other selectors and the Test Captain it is decided to include Khurram Manzoor as the 15th player in the National Test Squad for upcoming Pakistan vs New Zealand Series," a Pakistan Cricket Board statement read.
The first Test in Hamilton begins on 7th January while the second match in Wellington begins on 15th January.
