Pakistan have added left-arm fast bowler Sohail Tanvir to their squad for the five-match One-Day International series in Sri Lanka.

Tanvir put in a pair of impressive performances during the , taking three for 12 and one for 15 in the tied series.

After opener Nasir Jamshed was ruled out of the tour with a finger injury, Tanvir's inclusion brings Pakistan's squad back up to 15 players.

"In view of the request from the team management and keeping in consideration the current form of Tanvir, the selection committee has decided that he may be retained for the one-day series in Sri Lanka,” Iqbal Qasim, chief selector, said.

The opening game is on 7th June in Pallekele.

Tanvir has played 43 One-Day Internationals to date, taking 55 wickets.
