Pakistan have added uncapped 19-year-old left-arm quick bowler Usman Shinwari Khan to their Twenty20 squad ahead of the series against Sri Lanka.
He will join up with the squad ahead of the first of two Twenty20 matches in Dubai.
In 11 Twenty20 matches in his fledgling career to date, he has taken 16 wickets at an average of 16.37 and an economy rate of 6.21, showing a knack for swinging the ball away from right-handers and the ability to bowl yorkers at the death.
He was also the leading wicket-taker in the recently concluded Faysal Bank T20 competition in Pakistan.
Pakistan warmed up for the series by beating Afghanistan by six wickets with one ball to spare.
Pakistan T20I squad: Mohammad Hafeez (captain), Ahmed Shehzad, Anwar Ali, Bilawal Bhatti, Haris Sohail, Junaid Khan, Saeed Ajmal (Sri Lanka games only), Shahid Afridi, Sharjeel Khan, Sohaib Maqsood, Sohail Tanvir, Umar Amin, Umar Akmal (wicket-keeper), Usman Shinwari Khan, Zulfiqar Babar
