Pakistan Close In On Zimbabwe's Score
Zimbabwe 412 (Mawoyo 163no, Aizaz Cheema 4-79) v
Pakistan 357-5 (Mohammad Hafeez 119)
Only Test, Bulawayo, day three
Pakistan closed day three of the only Test against Zimbabwe in Bulawayo on 357 for five in reply to the home side's score of 412.
Mohammad Hafeez scored a century and there were half-centuries for Azhar Ali, Younus Khan and captain Misbah-ul-Haq.
Hafeez made 119 in 177 balls, hitting 19 fours and a six and he put on 188 for the second wicket with Azhar, who made 75 in 193 deliveries.
Younus was unbeaten on 61 from the same number of balls while Misbah stroked 66 in 110 deliveries with nine fours and a six before he and Umar Akmal (15) fell late on as Zimbabwe finished the day strongly.
Akmal's dismissal was an unusual one as he cut Greg Lamb onto Craig Ervine's shoulder and the ball rebounded in the air where it was taken by Brendan Taylor.
That was one catch Zimbabwe did hold and they did themselves no favours by dropping both Younus and Misbah during the course of their innings.
Tino Mawoyo carried his bat for 163 in Zimbabwe's innings, becoming the third Zimbabwean to do so - all three having done it against Pakistan.
