Pakistan opened their tour of England with a six-run Twenty20 win over a star-studded Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) side at Lord's.
Umar Akmal stroked an unbeaten 51 in 30 balls and opener Shahzaib Hasan 34 in 19 balls before three wickets from New Zealand all-rounder Chris Harris saw Pakistan close on 165 for five.
Afghan Mohammad Nabi and MCC Young Cricketer Glenn Querl were the other wicket-takers.
In reply, Australian Aiden Blizzard hammered 73 in 59 balls and former West Indian captain Brian Lara made 37 in 32, the pair sharing a stand of 94 for the second wicket before Pakistan bowled themselves back into the game.
Shoaib Akhtar and Umar Gul returned a pair of wickets apiece and despite 18 in 13 balls from Australian all-rounder Ian Harvey, MCC closed on 159 for five.
