The Pakistan All Star XI handed an International XI a second defeat in as many days to seal a 2-0 Twenty20 series win in the World XI AO Trophy in Karachi.

The series saw the return of international cricketers to Pakistan for the first time since 2009 although the home team proved to be too strong for the challengers.

In today's game the World XI needed number 11 Nantie Hayward to thump 42 not out in 16 balls to haul them up to a score of 142 for nine before Pakistan needed 16.4 overs to chase down the runs.

Hayward hit three fours and four sixes having come to the crease with the score reading 85 for nine. Andre Seymore had earlier made 25 while Pakistan's bowlers again hit their marks, Faraz Ahmed returning three for 20 and Tabish Khan two for 19.

There was also a wicket apiece for Sohail Khan, Shoaib Malik and Umar Akmal. Following the convincing win in the opening game, Pakistan captain Shoaib Malik allowed Akmal, Asad Shafiq and Nazir to bowl a quarter of the overs.

Nazir then turned his attention to his strongest suit, hitting four fours and five sixes in making 53 in 33 deliveries and his opening partner Shahzaib Hasan hammered 39 in 19 balls.

Steven Taylor then returned three for 22, dismissing Nazir, Akmal (6) and Malik (13) and although Hayward had Shahzaib caught by Saeed Bin Nasir, Pakistan eased to victory with Shafiq not out on 23 and Faisal Iqbal on three.
