The two-day tour game between Pakistan and Guyana was drawn in Bourda as the home side reaached 252 for six in reply to 330 for six declared.
Pakistan captain Misbah-ul-Haq stroked an unbeaten century as his side enjoyed a good day with the bat on day one and he was unbeaten on 101 as Pakistan declared on 330 for seven before Guyana closed on 25 without loss in reply.
Having won the toss and chosen to bat, Pakistan got off to an excellent start as openers Mohammad Hafeez (52) and Azhar Ali (57) put on 92 for the first wicket.
Asad Shafiq fell for 21 to bring Misbah to the crease and he guided his side to the conclusion of their innings, given good support by Umar Gul, who made 40.
Guyana then also batted strongly with half-centuries from Shemroy Barrington (58) and Trevon Griffith (55) as well as handy contributions from Shivnarine Chanderaul, who made 44, and Narsingh Deonarine, who hit 40, ensuring they gave the Pakistan bowlers a good workout.
Off-spinner Saeed Ajmal returned two for 41 while Wahab Riaz, Tanvir Ahmed, Abdur Rehman and Junaid Khan all took a wicket apiece.
