Shahid Afridi celebrated his recall to Pakistan's side, as well as his 350th One-Day International appearance for them, by scoring a half-century and taking record figures of seven for 12 to wrap up a 126-run win in Guyana.
Pakistan have made major changes to the squad that failed to win a match in the recently concluded ICC Champions Trophy as they prepare for limited-overs series in the West Indies later this month. Shahid Afridi makes his umpteenth return to Pakistan colours and is included in both One-Day International and Twenty20 International squads.
West Indies will host Pakistan for a series of five One-Day Internationals and two Twenty20 Internationals in Guyana, Saint Lucia and Saint Vincent in July.
The series begins with the first of two ODIs in Guyana on 14th July before the two sides move on to Saint Lucia to conclude the ODIs and then Saint Vincent for both Twenty20 Internationals on 27th and 28th July.
