Pakistan Name 36 Probables

The recently appointed Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) selection panel has named 36 probables for a summer training camp in Lahore.

The camp has been arranged during a time in which Pakistan are playing no international cricket and none of their players are involved in the Indian Premier League.

Notable absentees from the list of players are wicket-keeper Kamran Akmal as well as experienced all-rounders Abdul Razzaq and Shoaib Malik.

Off-spinner Saeed Ajmal is playing county cricket with Worcestershire and is also absent from the list of players.

The camp will last from 6th May until 6th June.

Opening batsmen: Ahmed Shehzad, Imran Farhat, Khurram Manzoor, Nasir Jamshed, Shan Masood, Sharjeel Khan, Taufeeq Umar, Yasir Hameed

Middle-order batsmen: Asad Shafiq, Azhar Ali, Faisal Iqbal, Fawad Alam, Haris Sohail, Misbah-ul-Haq, Sohaib Maqsood, Umar Akmal, Younus Khan

All-rounders: Anwar Ali, Bilawal Bhatti, Mohammad Hafeez, Shahid Afridi

Wicket-keepers: Adnan Akmal, Sarfraz Ahmed

Spinners: Abdul Rehman, Atif Maqbool, Raza Hasan, Yasir Shah, Zulfiqar Babar

Fast bowlers: Ehsan Adil, Mohammad Irfan, Mohammad Sami, Mohammad Talha, Rahat Ali, Sohail Tanvir, Umar Gul, Wahab Riaz
