Pakistan Women beat the Netherlands Women by seven runs in a rain-affected final to claim victory in a quadrangular Twenty20 International tournament in Colombo.
In a game reduced to nine overs per side, Pakistan scored 53 for seven with three players - Javeria Khan, Bismah Maroof and Sana Mir - scoring 14 and opening bowler Eveline Gerrits taking three for 13.
In reply, the Netherlands could only reach 41 for one thanks to some tight bowling from Pakistan.
Pakistan had reached the final thanks to a 15-run Duckworth/Lewis win over Ireland, who reached 75 for seven before Pakistan closed on 37 without loss in the eighth over - well ahead of the adjusted target.
The Netherlands beat Sri Lanka on a toin coss after their semi-final was a no result. The Netherlands made 46 for nine in 13 overs before Sri Lanka's reply was halted with them on 14 without loss in one over, Chamara Atapattu hitting each of the three balls she faced for four.
The home side were the worst affected by the weather as the third-place play-off with Ireland was abandoned without a ball being bowled.
The tournament was a precursor to a quadrangular One-Day International tournament that gets underway on 26th April.
