Paul Coverdale Leaves Northamptonshire

Paul Coverdale will be leaving the Northants Cricket staff at the end of the 2007 season. Paul joined the club with the Academy in the first intake in 2000. He joined the professional staff in 2004 and has played regularly for the Academy and the Second Eleven. Unfortunately it is felt that his move into the first team has not materialised and there does not appear to be an opening in the near future so the decision was made that the time has come for Paul to move forward with his life and career. Paul is a great lad and hugely popular at the club, he has put in a superb contribution to the team whilst here at the club especially with the Academy and Second Eleven teams. We would like to wish him all the best for future and thank him for his contributions over the last 7 years. Chief Executive Mark Tagg said ‘“Paul has shown excellent attitude throughout his time with the club and has been a role model for many of the younger players. We wish Paul well for the future and are confident that he shall succeed in following whatever path he chooses”. © Northamptonshire CCC
