Peter Morgan Named As New Kent President

Peter Morgan, a club member for over 50 years, will become the new Kent president.

Currently vice-chairman, Morgan said, "“I am honoured to have been asked to become the club’s president for 2008 and excited about the team's prospects.

“I was most impressed by the talent and character of the current squad this year. They have the potential to do even better.”

Outgoing president George Kennedy said, "“I am delighted that Peter has agreed to become Kent’s president next year.

“He is a lifelong member of Kent cricket as well as having been a much-trusted adviser to the club over many years.

“I am sure the club will derive much benefit from his wide experience and I look forward to introducing him as my successor at the annual general meeting."
