Physicool - Reusable, Cooling Bandages

Physicool™, is a unique reusable bandage that combines cooling, compression and support, providing instant treatment for muscle inflammation/bruising and localised soothing of tendons and ligaments. Physicool is a rapid, effective and convenient bandage which draws heat out by rapid evaporation, rather than just cooling the skin.

Available in various sizes suitable for wrists, knees and ankles or elbows, thighs and shoulders, each self-fastening bandage comes in a re-sealable foil pouch. It is easy to apply and does not require any refrigeration. After use, the reusable cooling bandage is gently wrung out and placed back into the pouch, before being re-applied.

"Physicool was the best product I had tried on the lead up to the Ashes to keep me playing!" - Freddie Flintoff, the 2005 Ashes winner and former England International Test Cricketer

Physicool products are available in Boots, pharmacies and Holland & Barrett. Bandages retail between £9.99 and £14.99 dependent on size.

Simon Garrett BM MRCS FRCS, Consultant Orthopaedic & Trauma Surgeon at Dorset County Hospital conducted a patient survey into the use of Physicool following knee replacement surgery.

He said: "We found that post-operatively, patient pain scores were significantly reduced and mobility significantly improved in the first 48 hours after surgery. Physicool made a dramatic difference."

Physicool has now extended its range of products to include for a special Cooling T shirt which can be sprayed with Physicool Coolant to help reduce body temperature.
