What better way to start the cricket season than with a delicious, slow-grown meat pie from the traditional farmers at Pipers Farm, making their debut at Lord’s Cricket Ground this month! From the first game today - Thursday 15th April throughout the season this summer, they will be on hand to feed the fans.
For those of you who aren’t yet aware Pipers Farm - based in Devon - produce top-quality, better than organic meat from a community of over 30 family-run farms. All meat in Pipers Farm’s pies is produced on the farm, with animals grown slowly to reach natural maturity without any additives. Pies are made from scratch in the on-farm kitchen to delicious recipes with all natural ingredients - simply good, wholesome food, grown and prepared to an impeccable standard using a pie machine prepared by traditional craftsmen from Manchester, ensuring the perfect finish.
Pipers Farm’s experienced butchers have worked for months with the chefs at Lord’s to produce exceptional recipes that are a world away from industrial mass-production. The mouth-watering selection on offer includes Red Ruby Steak & Mushroom, Pipers Farm Lamb & Mint, Pipers Farm Chicken & Saddleback Ham and, so no one’s left out, Pumpkin, Goat’s Cheese & Spinach as a delightful vegetarian option. All round it’s a unique partnership of true artisan craftsmen that have come together to deliver a uniquely sensational "pie experience".
Not only is all the meat free from additives, but it is expertly hung to achieve the perfect taste and tenderness. The Red Ruby Beef is hung for a month and meticulous butchery ensures the perfect muscles are selected for pie-making. Lamb is hung for 3 weeks and chicken for 2 weeks, while ham from the farm’s Wessex Saddleback pigs is traditionally cured and air-dried, bringing out all the right flavours.
See in this cricket season with something trustworthy, tasty and truly British with a tantalising treat from Pipers Farm!
