Bangladesh  v New Zealand - match abandoned
Second One-Day International, Mirpur

Heavy rain forced the second One-Day International between Bangladesh and New Zealand in Mirpur to be abandoned before a ball was bowled.

Bangladesh lead the five-match series 1-0 following a nine-run win in the opening match but New Zealand were denied the chance to hit back by the bad weather.

The match was eventually called off two hours and ten minutes after it was due to get underway as the rain did not relent.

The third match, at the same venue, is on 11th October.
