Rain played spoilsport on the second and final day's play at Grace Road as the tour game between West Indies and Leicestershire ended in an anticipated draw.
West Indies declared their innings with the overnight score of 377 for seven which was set up by unbeaten centuries from Shimron Hetmyer (128 not out) and Shane Dowrich (108 not out) while Kieran Powell (82) played a valiant knock as well.
Leicestershire started their response positively with Harry Dearden (42 not out) hitting seven boundaries in his 45 ball knock and shared a 61 run stand with Samuel Evans (18) before the latter was snared by Alzarri Joseph (1-14).
Just as they raced to 70 for one in 12.1 overs when rain arrived, not allowing any further play possible in the game.
West Indies will now head to Lord's to meet England in the third and decisive Test that will be played between 7th and 11th September.
